Why hello there.
I love to get to know my clients and their businesses inside-out: your goals, your challenges and what drives your customers to buy. It’s how I create copy that delivers knockout results.
But perhaps you’d like to find out a little more about me too?
I’m Laura. It’s great to meet you.
I’m a creative, flexible freelance copywriter, with over 12 years of B2B and B2C experience working for or with organisations such as the National Trust, Moneyhub, Soil Association, Double Dutch, English Heritage, NHS Bristol and Olswang LLP. With a firm focus on engaging communications created with your specific audience in mind, I am experienced in remotely delivering multiple high-quality copywriting projects within your brand guidelines and in your corporate tone of voice - on time and on budget.
I’ve had a fascination with the power of words since I was very young, and could often be found scribbling short stories or creating character studies, so it wasn’t a huge surprise to anyone when I chose to study English Language and Literature at the University of Sheffield. Since then, I’ve written countless words for various publications, and look forward to writing many more.
A previous Bristol resident, I now live in rural Worcestershire with my husband, son and two cats, Prince and Pixie. When I’m not working with words, I adore the wide open spaces of the great outdoors, regularly heading off into the wilds for the day. Favourite holiday destinations often have one thing in common: mountains. I’m fairly sure I’ve left a little piece of my heart in Patagonia, Chamonix, Nepal and Colorado - let me know if you visit and spot one!
If you’d like to talk marketing or mountains, copywriting or cats, please do get in touch or connect with me on LinkedIn. Let’s start something special.
